I have been looking at these boxes. I can find three different ones. A reg box (90hp),a hot box(130hp), and another hot box (150hp). I was told in a different thread there is no Hot VA box for an LLY. Anyone know what the deal is? Any part numbers?

I don't think there is anything other than a single release unit. I have the release units and beta units, but nothing else.

bobo,

John's correct there isn't anything for the LLY other than the 90/130 HP version. van Aaken is very conservative and is pretty shy sometimes about putting a really high HP products out on the market for a while till they know all is OK etc. Call us if you have any questions etc.

I contacted Van Aaken a number of times, and they currently have only one tuner, and have no intention of building a race-only unit.

Didn't I see 4 different versions listed for the LLY on your website, available for sale?

Also, didn't VA at one time offer a 35/70 HP version? Seems like that would be great for stacking with the Predator (set on 40 HP) for the ultimate tow tune.............

The LB7 has numerous versions. LLY has one. I've seen the 150HP listed on other web sites, but never figured out what those guys were smoking :cookoo:

Now that I know there is only one out....I guess I better buy one! Thanks for the help everyone, and like John said.....some other websites are blowing smoke about the 150hp LLY tuner.

If you have/get a Van AAken, I would like to know how well it works with the Boost Stick. I am thinking about getting Edge EZ or Van AAken and BS.

If you plan to keep the stock trans, the Edge would be deifinite choice. The VA hi is too strong for the stock trans. The Edge will give 3 useable levels.

I've got the VA, and my BS will be here today. I'll let you know how well it works on the 70 HP setting.

Works great. Even "light footing it" in city driving, so the shift points are at 2000 rpm or below it is showing 1-2 pounds more boost. No bursting with my foot in it during trial runs. Installation was really pretty easy.
It's nice having my VA back, I had "loaned" it to a guy that works in my building, he had some interest in it, but never could pony up any cash. Even though I drive for mileage, the extra power seems to make that easier, especially in overdrive.
