i was just wondering whats the most miles people have seen with these motors before having major problems?

By reading these forums I have seen 5000 miles, or 120000miles:confused:

im talking like having to tear into the motor, like an overhaul, or something like a rod or bearing going out. i was just curious since mine is about to roll over 123000. thanks

Injectors about 81,900. It's been pretty good. I did put a new flywheel in 3 months ago. Check signature for miles and hours.

100,000 miles and front left wheel bearing replaced. Major? I don't know if that qualifies but, the part alone was $317.00. To me that is major. Other than that I've been happy.

283,000 on 1st motor befor major failure due to 3 injector failures starting at 215,000 if I remember correct. Fuel in the oil each time ate up the bearings. Now at almost 200,000 on this engine & just replaced the injectors around 180,000. Luckily no fuel in oil this time. ;)

im at 34000 and have had to have 2 injectors replaced once then 2 weeks later same problem and all replaced. other then that i have had no problems knock on wood.

See my sig for motor info. I have had the injectors replaced at 110,000 miles, right front hub bearing at 135,000, and done batteries and alternator in the past 20,000 or so. Still haven't done brakes yet!

ya ive did the injectors at about 107000 then back in for lose line at 112000 and front bearing out at 117000 and then second set of u-joints at 122000 but when stepdad had it the first set of u-joints at 60000 and the batteries at 85000. thanks
