There is nothing that can be typed that will make your curent situation any better. Losing a job is a very BAD thing....I know that because American Airlines took care of that for me.
I have been out of work since March and was very close to saying good bye to the industry. Lucky for me I kept at it, I just started work at a new airline and by the looks of it American DID ME A FAVOR!
Lets just hope you can keep the Mini K'wopper! Mine was also very close to the chop block.
Keep your head up.

Wisconsin huh? Well we have our fair share of cheese heads here. No one should have to give up thier Dmax.......we need that in the bill of rights!
Nowake has it right....keep looking....chin up....
My better half just got a new job after 3 months of nothing. Times were low....pennies were tight, we had some savings so it could have been worse but it was gettin there.
I think when it all shakes out in a couple years we will look back at this time period and realize that 03-04 was when the dam broke and jobs flooded OUT of this country.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif I hope I'm wrong.

Hey man, dont give up like that eh!
You know, that truck you have can actually earn its own keep if you find creative ways to make it work for you. Maybe you could transport 5ers around etc.? Maybe throw on a plow and get some jobs that way? Specialty delivery service? ... Just throwing ideas.. Hope things come around as they surely will!

Don't give up so easily. I was out of work for 5 months over the summer. I had about give up on getting another good paying job, but luckily I found one better than I had. While I was off though, I done as suggested above, and delivered cars from an auto auction, to a friend of mine who owns a used car lot. Used the truck to haul 2 cars at a time. Hope everything works out for you!

You know its bad when your selling your guns to pay the mortgage.
Deliver pizzas at night that will make the truck payment.

Thanks much for the comments and replies!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
After re-reading my post http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif I noticed I made it out as worst casehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif....What it is, is that I "had" a second job (driving semi) which was paying for my truck. The company I drove for had an account which worked well for the hours that I work. But now with out the second income I can't afford to keep my truck (DAMN! corporate Americahttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif) The corp. that we were pulling refrig. products for, dropped the supplier and went w/ someone else. the product was not an issue. Just corp. politics. enough on that. I've been looking for more work but, no such luck yet. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif I'll have to see what happens here in the next month or two....but if nothing comes along I gotta dump the "Mini Kenworth." So if anyone knows anyone lookin for a truck send them my way. Thank-you much!! -Jammer
