I run Escort 3500 or 8500 series, depends on what vehicle I am in. The Corvette has the 8500. The Dmax has the 3500. both work well. ZERO speeding tickets in 30+ years, they have saved my rear many a time. V1 also makes a decent detector but the arrows are just a gimmick to me. V1's are more prone to false alarms like LED taillights or rain drops filtering just the right light thru it. BROKER 02-03-2004, 03:11 PM What makes you say these 3 jammers don't work? BROKER 02-03-2004, 03:22 PM I do have a 8500 Escort but i like the Valentine better.The funny thing is the 8500 is in the Vette still since last fall.The valentine is some how working great for my run down Rt 95 every morning to the office.The Avalanche is a big target and the Laser the State is using here in Mass is getting anoying.I change vehicles often and hate permanent mounting equipment,But the ZR3 from Escort is what i'm leanig to.In The Z06 i would not mind a fixed mount. Just open the door on a running micowave oven. It works on radar but laser is another story. The f-16's or wild weasels would target the microwave ovens as an active radar site. Missle away.....
