Hi,

Does anyone know if you can upgrade from a stock 245 tire to a 265 on the 6.5 inch rims without having to use the spacers some folks talk about? I have a 2004.5 CrewCab short bed 2 Wheel drive 2500HD D/A. Any experience here would sure be appreciated. Thanks.

Well technically you are not supposed to put 265's of 6.5 inch rims but everyone does it. No spacers or alterations required. :grd:

I had 305/70/16 BFG M/T's on my 2001 no prob. I had to crank the bars but no rub. Now I have 265's on my 2003 and my opinion is they acually look and ride better than the OEM.
