I recently heard that they were holding back on the pitman /idlers due to casting problems? I replaced my stock ones with moog and cognito braces. I did use fabtechs tie rod system. So far no problems. Sure does steer better with the new arms and braces!

Does anyone know if the Fabtech tie rod pivot point is the same height from the spindle arm as the stock tie rod. The reason I am asking is if the Fabtech tie rod raises the pivot point in relation to the spindle arm, the bump steer might be improved when the static height is higher than the stock height (lifted front end).

If anyone has a Fabtech tie rod end, could you measure the height difference between the aftermarket tie rod and the stock rod??

Any help regarding this question will be appreciated.

I like the Cognito sterring upgrades better than the Fabtech parts. I ran them in conjuction with tie rod sleeves on the lst truck on a 6" RCD I had zero sterring problems after that. If nothing else Justin at Cognito has a better company than Fabtech and he stands behind his stuff 100%, every time I deal with Fabtech I come away dissappointed. I would start with Cognito Motorsports and go from there....Fabtech would be a last resort.

Just my $.02,

Chris
