Any truth to the rumor that the new 325/600 Cummins will have a "tamper proof" crank deflection sensor from which the dealer will be able to tell if the truck had been "turned up"? I've read about this in a few places but, sounds kind of black magicish to me. How could they tell if said crank deflection was from a 150hp box versus sidestepping the clutch in 4-lo with 12k lbs in tow with stock power?

I think the device is made by the same company that makes the Duramax's head melting detector.


Of course it won't be much an issue with that 150lb crank the ISB's have in them
