Noticed the output shaft seal was leaking, took it in, they thought they had the seal, had the wrong one, keeping truck overnight. Gave me a cheesy ford focus rental car. Showed the service manager my high idle, thought it was neater than hell, never seen one before. Techs were very professional. Should have it tommorow. Just wanted to take care of this before I cross like a frigign thousand miles of desert.

My dealer always gives me a Ford for a rental car. My last one was a Tardus.
My dealer is a Ford and Chevy dealer both. They basically keep them totally seperate. When you go there, there's a Chevy side, and a Ford side. You have to drive thru the Chevy side to get to the Ford side though. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

They did not ask about it when they had it on the lift, it is blatantly obvious too when they drove it around to the service bay, not to mention the 1700 rpm roar in the shop showing them the high idle when he asked what the switch was for...hahaha
