Can anyone tell me why an oil pressure switch failure causes the lift pump to stop working??


Also, I have an old fuel sol driver and I was wondering if it's possible to replace the two (9802) electronic parts (resistors?) inside and have it work?

I believe the answer to your first question is to stop the flow of fuel if the engine stops running like in an accident or fire.


If the resistors are bad on the old driver than probably yes. But usually it's the driver that goes bad.
