has antone tried the procedure for high idle posted as UI Bullitin # 63 on GMUpfitters.com (http://www.gmupfitter.com/publicat/bull.htm)? It looks pretty simple. Only thing is you have to have someone flash the ECM with Tech II Scan Tool. There are some other good information on GMUpfitters.com (http://www.gmupfitter.com/index.htm)

I did not need a tech II reflash, mine worked as advertised, actually, I have never heard of anyone who needed the reflash. I got the 1250 set and 1700 resume speeds on my 03.

I Did Reflash Mine But Did Not Have To, I Just Whated Differant RPM Settings. It Will Work Without Reflashing.

For that method of high idle you NEED a tech II. This is not the way most of us do it.

You also need a momentary switch.

The nice thing about it is that it is negative energised so it makes it really easy to hook a remote starter up to it.

I have seen a couple done that way from a local GM dealer. I choose not to do it that way because I like that there are no switches with the PTO setup when hooked up to the brake switch. I also dont have a tech II http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Dead.gif

I still added a lighted toggle instead of useing the brake switch, I like switches.
