: Power Wire Question

I recently bought a hideaway strobe kit for my truck, the instructions for the power supply say to run a wire directly from the battery, which is what I did in my previous truck. However I am having trouble finding a place to mount my 60 Amp fuse block, I was wondering if there was anywhere in the truck I can pull power from since the unit will be under the back seat. Has anyone done something similar? Is there a large enough power wire in the truck's interior, i.e. under the dash.

I don't know where JohnnyMass purchased his, but I have purchased several Whelen kits through www.strobesnmore.com (http://www.strobesnmore.com)

They also sell a lot of kits through ebay. Their ebay id is strobesnmore.

On edit: If you will be drawing 60 amps, I would suggest running a new wire from the battery. For a 60 amp draw, you need to go with a minimum of 8 gauge wire.Edited by: flhrciblueice
