Has anyone ever used the coolant heater on there 6 liter?I saw it in may owners manual but i cant find it on my truck.Or is that only for 8.1 liters and deisels? It said it was for gas.

it is an option on the gassers. You can add one to it witha block heater kit, just look for a freeze plug that you can get too, the heater replaces it and then run the cord.. done

yes I have one on my 2000gmc3/4t 6lt 4/4 4drextcab[slt]..works ok came with truck..no problems.installed on dvrs side as you face truck good luck
