I have a 04.5 crewcab dlw 4by4. I have a ats tranny afe intake and gages. also have a banks exuast. I have put the edge/attitude on. I took my cat off and it seems my truck lost power. Does this seem right?

It shouldn't lose power. I'm not sure why you wuould feel that.

thats what I thought. it feels like the turbo has increased lag. I also have noticed since I put the edge on my mpg went into the toilet(normal driving).

Huh, It sounds like you might need to replace your fuel filter. How many miles since the last change?

It's probly due to be changed,but the truck was fine until I dropped the cat.

I have an 05 and when I installed the corsa exhaust it seems as though I lost power too. I run the attitude on level 3 no problems. Level 4/5 under heavy acceleration,ses light trips & goes to limp mode. fustrating. Edge states put cat back in. Egr plate resolution? Mark

Predator on 85hp tune ,MBRP no cat no egr blocker plate no problem ,JUST RUNS LIKE A RAPED APE .

Boyd, can you let us know if the fuel filter change helped? I'm thinking about pulling my cat, and would be interested to know if your problem was the fuel filter.

Back when my truck only had a tuner, I removed the cat. If any thing power went up. I don't think problem is the cat removal.IMO

I replaced the cat pipe with a not cat lb7 pipe. Now my fuel milage is off about 1 mpg over several tanks:mad: . I, too, should replace the fuel filter, but only noticed the economy drop after the exhaust mod. Any more ideas? Truck going in storage on 10/9/2005, so I should have time to get things fixed, but not test.
