Never Trust Your Dic:lol: realey the dic canot cumpute for programers using more fuel, and will always read better fuel milage than you actually get , mine says 18 and I hotrod it more than Mario Andretti but in reality if I figure it out by the tank I am at about 15 or so:ro) :ro) :ro)

I had an 04 CC 2500 HD and the DIC consistently listed my fuel consumed as being at least 10% less than how much fuel I would put in it. Tanks after tank it did that and I filled up at different stations on the off chance that my normal station was short changing me. But, the same thing happened every time. In your case, you seem to be off more than the 10%, but I know that I also saw 23+ mpg on the DIC on occassion as well on flat terrain. the following fil up didn't agree with that, though.

My 05 doesn't tell me instantaneous mpg, but I'm not sure if that is because it is an 05 or because it is a 3500. Does anyone know? Is it possible to get it reprogrammed to show the instantaneous mileage? I used that function quite a bit in the 04 and I miss it.

Common question-All tuners/programmers will throw the mileage readings off on the DIC.. to get accurate numbers always do it by hand.

I think you only get the option of looking at fuel , Instant ,trip ect if you have steering wheel buttons. If you got them you should be able to see instant mpg. If you want serch the forum on the topic "dic" I think I saw an after market gauge which will do all that stuff for you plus read and clear codes.
