I assume you have a 4x4 if you have mt's.....what will you use, 4x4 or 2x4? I ran a 14.322 on stock trans in mine in 4wd.

I made 7 passes tonight.. MY FIRST TIME ON THE STRIP EVER!!!

1/8th - 9.480 @ 74.486 mph

1/4 - 14.863 @ 85.564 mph

X-cab/short box Edge w/ Attitude and 4" exhaust on 285 BFG M/T's... Street trim Full-tank of #2, plus my 350 LB. tank @ss..... Tailgate down though!!! 4x4-hi on Level 5x5 w Defuel 4-5......

I guess thats decent for my meager modifications and first time out!!!

Your MPH in the 1/4 seem pretty slow. You should be in the 90's

defueling in 5th gear?

There has been many passes made on a stock tranny in the 13`s. I think Mtomac ran something like 13.2x on a stock tranny.:eek:

Exactly... With the Edge set to NOT BACKDOWN i still defuel about half way between the 1/8th and 1/4 every run last night!!!!

I literally was coasting threw the 1/4...:mad: Literaaly tot he floor and truck just slows down and coasts in, NO CODES!!!!

Why is this???? my buddies there with LB7's finish strong!!!

Why doesn't it do this on the Highway when running?? I was in Tow/Haul OD-locked out!!!!

your 60 ft needs some work...a 2.0 would have got ya 14.5 easy.

I ran a a 13.2 with the TST comp and the ATS trans at 6600#. I ran a 13.5 with a 150 juice and the ATS trans at 6600# My best with a stock trans and the 125 juice was 14.3 @ 6600#. But we're comparing an LB7 to an LLY

sorry but mike what did you strip out of the truck other than tailgate spare tire. i ran a 14.8 with edge on 150 that is 5/5 and i got extra cab short bed that came in at about 6700#'s but my 60 foot time was a 2.1 that probly killed me and yes i still got a stock trans-:t had to fether her alittle to get her to shift into 4th gear

My friend ran a best of a 14.26 @ 93 mph with his 05 GMC CC/SB last week. His mods are a turbo back MBRP 4" exhaust system, K&N Air Charger kit, and a Quad 135. I have a couple little tricks up my sleeve and I think I can get him into the solid 13's.

i saw an 03 run a 8.5x low last night,stock tranny ,edge and a tuner but his tranny was screamin for mercy......by the way last nights run 03 dmax 8.5x vesus 05 psd 9.5 i think

Maybe I'm totally wrong, but don't you need to shift into OD (5th) to get over like 90mph? Could this be the reason?

What lawnboy said is one very important factor. The Ally should shift in 5th soon after the first 1/8. With the rev limiter @ 3400 you could be hitting it. Also check your attitude EGT settings. Even if you set it at 1500° (wich is the max) it will still backdown because the EGT easily go over that in a 1/4 race. You need the press "enter" twice rapidly and set the amount of minutes you want the Attitude to stop wondering about EGTs.

Congrats! Now you are a racer, and you were quicker than everyone who didn't have the huevos to race.

I never could get excellent ET's out of the LLY Edge. Yet. If you can borrow a Predator 100 LLY, give it a shot for a few passes. Don't get crazy, or you will limp it.

Best ET we got out of a stock trans was 13.9, but on pass #5, it limped it hard, and an autopsy showed the trans was fried pretty good. Even mid 14.5's will start to damage the clutches.

I went 14.322 w/ 100hp juice only on stock trans in my LLY at 6970#. Looks like the LLY is right on par w/ the LB7 w/ a Juice on it.
