HI there guys,
Was wondering what you all have thought about turbo timers? I've got friends who have them in their gas rice rockets, but I was wondering what you all though or have with your set up

i would not waste the time/money for a timer with a diesel, mine is plenty cool after just a short period, now if you have a gas burner that is turbo...very good investment(been there, done that)

Most of the remote starts have a turbo saver feature. I think it is your best bet if you want a timer. Why spend a couple hundred for just the timer, when for a hundred more you get a remote start too. I have the Viper 160xv and am very pleased w/ it. It has a turbo saver. It is cheap ins. to save your turbo.

I like my T-timer.. waiting in the cab in 105 degree weather with a hot truck running and no A/C just sucks in my opinion. I installed a stand alone timer personally.

no a/c....most people turn off the a/c because it cools down faster. It cools down the fastest if you turn the heater on too. I think that is why he said "no a/c"
