I just tried my PPE hot with my VA today. It seems to run very strong and smooth with less overall smoke than my previous stacks. My only concern is injector rattle,way louder than the Edge JA/Predator stack or the VA/Predator stack. Is this safe? Will it get worse under a load,IE dirt drags or truck pulls? I just don't want to do any major internal damage. Is there a way to modify timing on either the VA or PPE? Thanks in advance guys.

It is definately a bit louder. So far no problems. Just don't run 'pain with it as you will probably have too much timing.

What about water/meth? I was going to order a Snow stage 2 kit tomorrow.

I understand that,but my question was that if noise from my new stack is going to hurt anything? I've ran three different programmers and line boxes,stacked and unstacked before this with no where near this amount of rattle. I just want to make sure I'm not going to get into serious detonation under a heavier load.

No it won't hurt anything. But you shouldn't be pulling with that tune either. Too high EGT's

I've been stacking for quite some time now. I'd say you are OK. But I'd be careful with the H20/Meth or Propane. You should probably can the VA and run a boost controller instead if you are going to put fuel in the air.

Nope, wont hurt anything. Its only louder because the Pilot-Injection gets shut off. So in other words, the engine is just making its "normal" noise level and sound. Before the tuners, the Pilot-Injection would be working at most RPM's, and thus "masking" the real noise of the engine, which is what you hear when you have a tuner on it. I was worried for a bit too when I stacked my PPE HOT Xcellerator and Edge, because it really hammers if you step on it, but its just the engine sounding "like it really does"...if that makes any sense.

I'll clarify a bit. The VA does three things, it adds boost, adds fuel, and it increases timing. You don't want the timing, and you are already adding fuel with H20/Meth or Propane. The VA is only needed for boost when you are adding fuel in the intake.

Can the VA, get a PPE Boost Controller or FBS, run the PPE tune, and add drugs as is necessary.

I wasn't even thinking about towing with it.When I tow I usually run the Perdator in the 40 horse Tow tune.I would only use this stack for competetion,sled pulling,dirt drags,drag racing,ect.Do you think the stack is too hot for sled pulling?

I didn't not spend any time looking for an "ultimate" nitrous stack. That will come soon.
