I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 6.6L Duramax. I'm looking for a programmer. I have a 40' foot trailor. I would like to be able to pull this with ease. Also, I have a 25,000lb gooseneck ball that I just had installed. So basically. I need a programmer to be able to haul a heavy load and my 40' foot trailor. Would it be a good idea to go ahead and rebuild the transmission? Allison Transmission.

hek, if you can afford to have the tranny upgraded and get a tuner then you will be set for life! I personally have the Edge/***, but don't pull as much as you will be pulling. The difference with and without the Edge is like night and day.. its the same with the other tuners as well.

Make sure you have gauges to monitor your temps.
