If i were to build a 6.5 with the lower compression pistons i would certainly want an intercooler being that the more boost pressure = higher intake temps, which in turn = bad performance. More boost is the only reason for going to 18:1 pistons anyways. (As far as I am concerned at least.)I dont like WMI simply because it does not seem at all practical to me to carry around a water tank. But I hate the mounting location i have seen for a 6.5 intercooler. It is in harms way and airflow is not all that great. Has anyone mounted a intercooler for a 6.5 elsewhere instead of in place of that little plastic gaurd underneath the truck?

I saw one years back that went in the bumper where the 2 cutouts are at. If you had a manual I bet you could get enough room to put one in front of the condensor, but I don't know if you could fit it with 2 coolers up there.
