I am thinking about building a new 6.5 with 18:1 compression pistons but i need some more input from some people who have done this. What kind of performance are you getting? What boost pressure are you running? What other mods had to be done? Just any input at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am running about 6 lbs at 65mph and I try not to go over 12 when accelerating hard. It pulls good, I am usually towing a boat. I have been averaging about 19mpg, and got 20mpg once, towing I got about 15mpg. See my other mods on my sig. I did the engine swap in June because I needed an exhaust and radiator and I thought I would just change the engine at the same time.

What kind of miles did/do you have on the 93? I changed my exhaust and radiator but never thought about swapping out the engine.
What kind of problems where you having to make you do such a thing or was it just a preference thing?
