About an Edge EZ screwing up the engine management system? Having major issues with the truck that only started a week or so after I added the EZ. Idle surging, hard starting, and the latest - truck going into limp home mode on Sunday. All problems persisted even after I removed the EZ. The limp home didn't occurr until a week after I removed it. Anyone have similiar problems with an EZ?

Probably unrelated to the Edge. Take everything off and take it to the dealer. Don't tell them you have had a box on the truck.

No doubt about it - not telling the dealer that is. Only thing left on the truck is a cat back MBRP.

I have been using a EZ for about 2 weeks or so and I have not had any problems. Truck runs real strong in level 1 and 2 when I go to pass someone, no surging and it starts just like it did before I installed the EZ. I don't use it to race or burn off my tires or do 4 wheel drive launches. I have not used level 3 because I don't have gauges and my fear of screwing up a $6000 transmission.

PCM needed a reflash as per a TSB. Will pick it up today, tow with it this weekend, and see if this did the trick.

It didn't do the trick. Time to find a new service department. It's doing the exact same thing it did when I took it in.

Took it to another dealer closer to me this week. I have had good experiences with this dealer before. Here is what they told me. Fuel filter clogged (it's a week old,) EGR valve clogged (truck only has 22k on it,) and last but not least an injector gone bad. WTF? Anyone have a clue what could cause all of this? Bad fuel comes to mind for the filter but what about the rest of it?

Prolly the fuel caused the injector to go bad also. No clue on the clogged Egr. You need to buy a blocker plate and finger stick so you wont have to deal with the EGR anymore.
