On a new LS reg cab you cant get heated mirrors of any kind :mad: If you had the regular power non heated mirrors and wanted to switch to the new manual extend heated camping mirrors with the lil spotter how much of a PITA would it be? Heated mirrors and plowing snow is nice and I really loke the big spotter mirror. But you cant get one in a 2500HD reg cab LS. LT is a few more grand for nothing that I can tell? Why cant GM just let me build one my way!? :mad:

Thinking of telling the dealer I'll do the deal if they put the mirrors on, I assume its just a reflash via the tech 2 and plug and play swaping of hardware? I will even pay a chunk for the mirrors. Man this tweaks me off........:rant:

I pulled them both out of their boxes and the connections look the same. Seems like it would be feesable (sp?) tho.

Could anyone tell me dealer cost on a pair of the new power camper mirrors with heat and turn signals and the built in spotter mirror? Or is there a way to find out acutal dealer cost?

Phil- Order 1LT pkg, the way I speced out our 2500HD EXt cab it was 1800 more but I got everything I wanted including the mirrors.

Yeah....its like 1500 bucks more for nothing near as I can tell except being able to get a few options. Man it pisses me off. Plus I think I want vinal seats and I cant get those in a LT :mad: But if I get a 3500SRW then I can get an LS with any mirror I want......and just about ever option but then I cant get power locks according to the GM buy it site:mad: At least I would feel I would be getting something for my extra $$$ I'm spending. :rant: Thinking I might go a SRW 3500.....darn it :mad:

Edit: its not so much the extra cash.....its the fact the LT adds power locks and windows and some other stuff that if you spec it out for a LS it comes out to less to add to the LS :mad: its the principle!
