Thats odd???? Seems we were at about 1190ft lbs back at the lil ol 650rwhp #. Thats only about 50ft lbs at worse case scenario and that is at over 60hp less.

I would like to try, but it looks like if I happen to run into the 11's, I'll just have to take the disqualification. A rollbar that meets the specs isn't going to be cheap, I already spent all my money and then some. I guess being disqualified for going to fast in a daily drivin truck is a good acomplishment.

I guess my real question was/is is everything that was used to obtain these types of numbers readily available to the public for purchase. Not like a guy you know had a contact who knew this ladies brother that could burn you this smokin ecm and then you added the stuff available from a retail source. I think the point is, is that everyone benefits on performance boards when you tell it like it is. Need to keep secrets? Then do it. But the "NAHNAHNAH!!! I know something you don't!" stuff is out of place.


I written dozens of articles and tutorials on internet sites about automotive performance, include detailed dyno results, AutoTap logs, and 1/4mi results. I don't HAVE to hide anything, because I can drive fairly good, and few people can get my results with the same HP. Not bragging, just explaining. I ran my first 12 sec ET at age 16 with a $200 motorcycle held together with hose clamps and duct tape.


When I start to mod my truck, I'll do the same thing. Before and after, every step of the way. Good and bad, but real unbiased results. I race for fun and trophies NOT for a living. And life is too short to be a prick about it.


So if you want to post tech content, post it. If you want to be a thorn in the tire, stay out of the pit areas.
