I recently bought a 4 ton floor jack from sears, but took it back because there was no hydraulic advantage in it. A real bear to jack up the truck.
Does anyone know where I can buy a 4 ton jack for a couple hundred bucks.
There are some real nice ones I found on the net, but are twice as long as needed, and WAY to expensive.
Thanks

Why 4 ton? If you only lift one end of the truck at a time, maybe 3 ton would be sufficient and much easier (and cheaper) to come by.

I got mine at the local NAPA store when they were having their sale a couple months ago. I think mine is 3.5 tons but only paid 200 for it. It also included some jack stands in the kit. I have been real pleased with it so far.

just a thought but cheaper isn't necessarly always better especially when it comes to jacks and jack stands. Especially if your planning on being under it. Just kinda thinking here - cheap jacks are usually made in china - china vehicles look smaller and lighter than a D-Max. Just food for thoughts

IIRC I got mine at one of the big box discount stores. I replaced the little plastic ball bearing housing (it only had eight balls in it) with as many balls that I could put in the race and it has worked fine ever since. It's only a 2.5 ton but it lifts the Dmax with the camper on it just fine.
I just walked out to the garage and looked at the jack, I lied, it's a 3 ton.
