: Source of oil film on turbo outlet blue hoses?

Has anyone ever noticed that both of their two large blue hoses, between the turbo outlet and inter-cooler inlet, having a even coating of oil and dirt all the way around the hose?
I noticed this a couple of months ago on the hose coming out of the turbo. I searched all around the engine, looking for a leak, and found none. It only seemed the hose was oily, and nothing else.
Tonight, I was looking at the short, large blue hose going to the inter-cooler inlet, and it has this same oily coating. The hoses between inter-cooler outlet and intake are dusty/dirty, but not oily.
I am using the Amsoil oil-wetted foam filter, if that matters.

Questions:
1). Is this oil coming from my foam filter?
2). Is this oil coming from somewhere else?
3). Is this oil permeating through the soft blue hose?
4). I only noticed this on hose between turbo and inter-cooler, so could the hot, compressed air from turbo be causing this?

Thanks for any info.

Assuming you have a LLY ...

the oil on the inside of the hose is from the pcv. If it is on the outside, perhaps your hoses are leaking a bit. There is a tsb on that. Tighten up the clamps.
