I read somewhere that filters filter better after clogging up a bit. If this is true wouldnt it be prudent to change the filter at 180 degree intervals. Change the oem 1/2 the life after the cat?

This way you dont have 2 brand new filters at the same time. I think the 1/2 plugged oem would filter the cat(new) bypass junk better.

Any 2nd opinions here?

Makes sense what your saying, maybe someone that knows more than me about filters will chime in.
