Does anyone have pictures of a 2500HD with a 4" lift and 305 or 315 tires? I am trying to decide what I want to do but need to see pictures. Thanks

Here's a 3" front 2" rear lift. I'll take some pics of the way it sits now (3" front/3" rear) and update you soon. It cost me all of $300, including the installation of the green keys, a wheel alignment, a 2" block/shackles setup on the rear, and installation of wheels and tires. The wheels are 17x8.5" H2 wheels and 315/70R17 BFG ATK K/O H2 tires.

Camstyn how about some pictures of your CV angles? Truck looks nice the way it sits but I have a feeling your CVs are at god aweful angles.

Here's a couple pics I just snapped. With the wheels/tires it's 5" taller than stock, without tires 3" taller. Green keys in the front and blocks/u-bolts and air bags on the back.

CVs are at a pretty good angle but if you haven't had any problems more power to you. Does anyone know if the outer tie-rod mount on the steering knuckle is tapered? Reason I bring this up is it might be a good idea Camstyn to try and flip the tie-rod right side(see Tophog's photo) up to improve the steering geometry. Edited by: y2kboti

Yeah I've got 10k miles on the truck since I lifted it and haven't had any hints of problems yet. I ran at 55MPH on the highway in 4wd for about ten miles in the deep snow and didn't tear anything up, either.

Good point about the tie-rod mount, it hadn't occurred to me. If it can be flipped I'll do it.

Tie-rod is tapered, Nothing a kit like the following couldn't handle, comes with 3 sleeves and a reamer, might be something to look into. CV's in his pics are kinda steep, I've seen worse, but I personally would be concerned with the tie-rod angles.

8.1, just the thing I was looking for. I posted earlier my setup like Cam's likes to wander under power in 4x4. We're getting pounded today so I'll get a better feel. I'm wondering if the CV's are binding a bit. I'd like to try lowering the bars and taking a test spin but sliding under a snowy truck doesn't turn me on. It could also be since I haven't had an alignment the toe is to straight allowing it to wander.

Other than that 7000 trouble free miles.

Mine drove fine in 4wd in the snow, I had the Juice on level 4 and it steered great up to ~55mph. The only time it would wander under power is if the snow was deeper on one side. Let us know what you find out.. I bet it's the alignment, and by lowering the t-bars you're going to see some improvement due to the alignment getting closer to spec as the front end drops.Edited by: Camstyn
