I got inspired by firelt today and went out to my garage and made up the skid plate for my CAT filter. I'll still need to make a shield for the front of it, but here's what I got done today. I'll post pics of the shield when I get id done!http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Looks pretty good, However did you leave enough room to change the filter without removing to shield? It looks very tight!

Very observant http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif , I kept it tight on purpose to keep it from hanging any lower below edge of the frame. It's only one bolt to remove it to change the filter so I don't think it will be too much of an issue. We'll see!

Looks like you might be able to just swing it forward out of the way without removing it when you are changing the filter.
