Here is my view of the advantages the Juice Has over the Reprogramming type units? I've heard the reprogramming type can be detected by a service technician therefore possibly voiding the warrantee where the Juice cannot be detected. The Juice also monitors the Allison tranny and backs off the fuel when slippage is detected. The advantage of the programmable type is they can eliminate the high-speed, limiter compensate for tire size and are less expensive than the juice. Any comments or Additions would be appreciated.

Most reprogrammers can be brought back to stock before service ....I haven't a clue if there is some sort of date stamp left behind a reflash ,also why would they the tech even look ...
The Juice does back off as you describe .... Speed limit defeat is available with the programmers ....
Both with the Additude on the Juice can correct tire size ...

But thats just the Additude speed display right?
It doesn't correct the speedometer in the dash.
If it could, it'd be on my truck right now....
So, I'm still "sittin' on the fence" so to
speak. I'm not "sold" on the Quad & I'd
REALLY like the Juice to be a "all in one"
type box so I wouldn't have to buy another
box just to correct my tire size....
Maybe if I wait long enough, Edge will add
this "feature" that I really want....
thanks for listenin',
