Pulling tomorrow night, I have a 04.5 CC dually should I run with the inside or outside dual? with or without the 2" spacer? by the way I have 255/85 A/T tires with 2" spacers on the back. Also what would you reccomend predator and edge settings.?? No added weight, drugs or clamping of the rear springs. Thanks just haveing some first timer butterflies!!!-:t

Its really not gonna matter if you run inside or outside. For settings, I would run the highest you can run on the street with the truck still running smoothly(ie no bursting) run 3rd low in tow haul.

Be careful coming out of the hole; if you get it hopping, it's the easiest way to snap driveline parts. Let off if you don't want to break it, expecially if it's a sticky clay track.

If you do not have tie rod sleeves (weakest part in front end is the tie rods), then do your best to lower the front end down all the way by turning out your torsion bar adjuster bolts. You can take them all the way out (so sez other folks, I've never had them out myself) to reduce the angle on the tie rods.

Strap the centerlink....there's an article in this section on it.

Check you hitch height and know what the max is, usually 26".

Read the rules. Some places require exhaust turndowns, helmets, etc.

Every truck is different. You may want to try the settings out before the pull. As was said earlier run the highest setting that doesn't burst.

It might not burst on an LBY but sure did on my LLY. Unless you have lift pumps it'll burst. Before the lift pumps I'd run Pred on high and EJ/A on level 3, low boost 4 or 5, if it started popping I'd turn the Edge down a notch. After lift pumps: full tilt, but still don't get much smoke.

I've run without the duals before, take the outside off. It looks stupid -:t , but I still won that pull.:ro)

Ran the predator all the way up and the J/A on level 3 lowered the t-bars down and ran 25psi in the tires. Removed the inside dual and ran with the outside (for looks i guess) track condition very wet. I pulled 270.4 with speed of 19.9mph....must have been good for that night......I WON My first pull and all i gotta say is I am HOOKED!!!:ro)
