I have the stock Steeltex tires on my 2003 2500HD. Next week we tow our fifth wheel from Canada (-20F, ice, snow etc) on a 6 week tour of the US which will include Arizona. Any recommendations for a more suitable tire.

Bridgestone Revos if you can find them.

I switched to Bridgestone Revos this fall. Couldn't bear the thought of another winter on the stock Steeltex tires. Also upgraded from 245's to 265's, still E rated. Very happy with the Revos. Handle the elements well and are much quieter than I expected from an agressive tread.
