I was thinking about this the other day and couldn't do the calculation, but how much tq does the truck make in 1st gear stock

Rumor says it is defueled to 300 hp, but I am not real sure this is true, as I don't remember reading anything other then rumors.:eek:

It all dependson where you are measuring the torque. At the flywheel, the LLY is limited in 1st gear to 520 lb-ft. In a perfect world (no drive line loss) you would then see 1612 lb-ft on the drive shaft (520 * 3.1) and 6013 lb-ft at the axle (1612 * 3.73). Of course, those numbers will never actually happen because of losses. This is also assuming the Allison transmission.
