I've got 140k miles on my '02 van now.

I replaced my serpentine belt and both thermostats yesterday. Both still worked but the belt was starting to make noise and the engine was running too cold for comfort in the cold weather, one of the t-stats wasn't operating properly. Other than that, no problems to speak of, it hasn't let me down.

'97 Sierra 2500. Bought it at 142k, now at 154k. 12k miles since October. Had to replace the serpentine belt and tensioner and the tires that came with the truck were in bad shape when I got it, so I replaced them. A/C has a bad leak that needs to be fixed, and one of the donuts on the crossover pipe is bad so I need to replace that. Other than that, no problems (except it refuses to start below freezing) and puts up with all my abuse. Also, it'll run warm when going up a hill with a trailer on back (on 70 degree days when I first got it it would run warm going up an extended steep grade by itself). May have a more pressing issue there to deal with come Spring. Don't know anything about the history before I bought it.Edited by: tdupuis

188,200 miles and a rebuilt tranny, new alternator, fuel pump, PMD, and CDR, needs a new exhaust, back bumper. The first owners worked it hard. Lots of gaskets that I have not had time to change yet are leaking... starts hard but runs great!
