Well I have a light out in my instrument panel. And I was looking into customizing with a different panel cover. Are there any out there that I could get that would take care of my light being out?

I bought a whole new custom cluster from the local truck shop. Really neat looking, but $350.

Annoyingly, the lights are NOT replaceable. My tranny temp guage light burnt out at only 4000 miles...dealer replaced the whole console for free under warentee. Although if you have the dealer replace yours. MAKE SURE you get them to program it for a Diesel. They are NOT plug and play. When my dealer first put mine in, the O/D lockout light didnt work, I had no "High Idle" feature in the DIC, and of course no Fuel Filter Life %...although I think only the 2005's get the Fuel Filter life. Or you can buy a nice Escalade cluster or Denali cluster from JP Customs. (www.jpcustoms.com)

They are changable but not by the average joe. A speedo shop or stereo shop should be able to handle the job if it becomes and issue after warranty.

Once I get resettled I'll start repair work once again...

As long as you have a 2005, you can get an update from the dealer that ADD's the Fuel Filter Life % to the DIC. It took some arguing and frustration, but I finally got it, and now I have a brand new 3rd generation fuel filter and 99% Fuel Filter Life left!!

From the factory, I think the 2005's started getting it in March or April. My truck was built in mid-Febuary, so it was before the update was out.
