I am wanting to buy the EZ for my LLY, but I like the edge attitude gauge I want to mount it in the overhead console, but I'm not sure if the attitude will work with the EZ. This may be a stupid question but I am just starting to figure all this diesel stuff out. If the attitude will work with the EZ will it let you do everything it says like adjust on the go and the defueling, and etc. I really like what I have seen and read about these two products and how the attitude mounts just don't know if they will work together.

Attitude won't work with the EZ. Why not buy a used Edge Juice/Attitude for around $500?

Wow I've never seen the Edge Juice with Attitude for around 500 unless its used or fell off a truck. If you know of a place that sells it for 500 new let me know, because theres a ton of people that would buy it without thinking for around 500 new. Thanks

Sorry that is what I mean 'used' not 'use'
Why do they list the attitude and the juice seperate on their site. I would really only want the attitude for the gauges not to adjust the EZ. Does the attitude wire into the juice or is it wired seperate. I know this sounds stupid the way I am wanting to do this but I have a heavy foot and I'm afraid if I go with the juice I will end up burning up my transmission and as far as the attitude I just wanted to use it for my EGT and boost gauge I like the overhead mounting. So are you saying that what I am wanting to do won't work or are you saying that I want be able to use the attitude for adjustments on the go and other things that it works with the juice ( defueling, etc )

The list them separately because before the EZ people would just order the juice to keep the costs down. Now they have the EZ which is not attitude compatible. The attitude is in no way compatible with the EZ. If you want the attitude you have to get the juice.
Your other option is get the EZ and get the trippin overhead mount and mount a pyrometer and boost Gage up there. No need for the attitude. The nice thing about that setup is that it works with all other programmers if you decide to change down the road.

I don't know what the trippin setup costs but you could also look at the Bullydog Outlook monitor. I have it on my truck with a westers tune. It just plugs inline with your wiring harness in the engine bay and then you run a pyro probe to it. It will do most of the functions that the edge attitude will do. I've never checked out the attitude, but at least the outlook monitor will work without a programmer.

The Edge Juice/Attitude combo does not need a programmer either. It has a multitude of adjustements that I dare not touch from the defaults. The only thing I adjusted mine for was tire size. Everything else was left as default and I can tell you the difference from stock to just level 1 is unbelievable!!!

What I meant was that the Outlook Monitor can be used on a stock truck with nothing else. I may have gotten some bad info when I was looking for ways to monitor my egt's, but I was told the attitude wouldn't work without the Juice.
The outlook monitor does nothing but pull info off the wiring harness unless you have a bullydog programmer of some sort. Hopefully someone will jump in and let us know if they have good info on the subject. :ro)
