Anyone know? I did a search and couldnt find anything...I thought it just raised the speed limiter...then I read something about it raising the rev limiter...I didnt think it did this...does it?? If so, what does it raise it to?

OPPSS!! It bumps the rev limiter to 3700 IIRC.

If I accidentally hit 3700 with a stock engine, valvetrain etc.. will the engine be ok?? I know the 6.0 liter Stroker's rev that high stock, but what about the Dmax? Obviously I wont be running in 3rd gear on the highway turning 3600, but If I hit it for a second, is it ok???

From my information, you are safe to 4000 rpm.

Here is what mine says:
Features: 4,500 RPM rev limiter, Speed Limiter Removal and this is what the LLY says, In addition, the HOT LLY Xcelerator raises the rev limiter to 3,800RPM.

Checked their website, raises to 3,800 rpm limit. I thought it raised it to 4,500, guess not. 3,700 rpm shouldn't hurt anything. I've had mine hit that stock pulling a trailer downhill and the tow/haul setting kept downshifting the tranny and the R's got way up there.

Keep in mind it will NOT change the shift points. To date, there is no commercial product that will do that.
I have been asking around about this same subject. I phoned them and asked about this increased rpm and was told the same crap again about they are working on the batch files. lol I have tried a couple different programers, yes I have a favorite but they all have a ways to go. The question I have is... Don't these companies have a truck that they test with? If so why not post their dyno results that shows their product improvements in hp/torq/rpm.
