Is it possible to get a deal under invoice on a truck not in the dealers inventory? I found where the truck is located and it's not close to my
dealer. Will need to be hauled by truck. Other than the hauling cost
will the dealer loose any money to do this?
It's a regular cab GMC SLE
MSRP $ 47460.00
INVOICE $ 44346.18
No trade.
Any info asap. I will ask them for there price tomorrow to see there offer.
Thanks.

Ill tell you a little secret.
Its been a few yrs since I sold cars (buicks) , when it come to "invoice" or below invioce its always been a little shady. I watched a customer come in and buy a car cheaper ( below invioce ) than what it would have cost an employee, and the dealer still made a bunch of money.
Dealers get incentives and advertising money that is not included in any invioce that's listed. On top of that , they basiacally print there own window stickers. Not saying anything is wrong or illegall that's .just how its done. So you never really now how much athe "dealers invioce price " is.
Actualy very few people in the dealer know.
The comptroller, GM and the owner.
Your best knowledge for priceing is acually consumer reorts listings. That is a salesmans worst nightmare when negotiating Price.
Knowledge is power. Don't let them add extra shipping or transport charges, or prep fee, that's rite up there with checking the turn signa fluid and muffler bearings.
Unless you are paying cash. Get your credit union involved, they have the best rates , I've seen as low as1/3rd on going loan rates. As in dealer say 12% credit union might give 4% andwithout any extra paper filing fees. If you don't know exactly what it is you are paying for , don't give up the money , even if they say it has to stay on the paperwork , walk out. You can always get the same deal somewhere else , wether it be a dealership or an online dealer. Sometimes the online dealers are your best chioce price wise if you know exactly wat you want.

I did do some looking on line and the invoice looks correct.
I do know about the 3% hold back.
I don't know if my dealer will get this? I would say yes if they trade
for the truck i'm looking to buy.
For some reason My dealer would perfer to do this then order.
