Hello all. I am currently getting ready to buy an 04 duramax with 37"tires 4x4 shortbed excab with the ally. This duramax already has the edge programmer on it. What i am wondering is will it be able to take my dads truck. He has an 04 powerstroke with banks 6gun. also has propane and water/meth, but i am just wondering from astraight #2 standpoint. who will win? Oh yah he is pretty much same trim as me except he has 35s.

Does his truck have an aftermarket trans? Hope so for his sake. Also didnt know those Ford PM rods would handle a big chip and 'pane.

so far truck is running great with close to 50K on it. Yes he broke his transmission a few thousand miles after the propane and chip were installed. Has the strongest tranny ATS made for his truck, so after that he added water/meth and mixes it about 33% meth. Runs like a SOB.

Unless you have regeared, I'd say you'll likely get your ass whipped. The 6.0s run damn strong anyway, and it sounds like he's loaded for bear. You're gonna need gears and more fueling to beat him I would imagine. But not to worry, it can be done. :)
