JHN, pulling season is almost over (they pretty much end when fair season ends, which is Labor day).

Check the ATPA website, or find out from some local tractor / truck puller who your dominant organization or pulling promoter is in your area. Check the DHRA as well.

I don't know of any even remotely close to you, unfortunately. If you want to come up to PA/OH/KY there are a few left but that's a heck of a drive for you.

There is a pull in Covington, Tennessee (near Memphis) October the 8th I believe. Let me know if you want details.

Never been to either one, I think the one in Cambridge is pretty good sized but I have no idea about the one in Maqouketa - I'll tell you on Monday.;)

Buddy of mine lives in Cape Girardeau, he said there is a pull somewhere near there this weekend. I will try and find out where and when.

Cynthiana Kentucky.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Smokin the Bluegrass. Supposed to be pretty big and if you leave in the morning, you should make it for the events in the later afternoon. Quite a trip but not as bad as some of the others mentioned. All should be a good time though.
