Hi guys, I've been chasing a clunking noise coming from my right front wheel when turning left. It only occurs on left turns, and the more throttle I give it the worse it gets. I've got a little bit of top to bottom play on that wheel that isn't there on the left side. I've already changed the upper ball joint as it was fast cheap and easy, and wheel bearings. Any suggestions on where to go from here. These pics show my issue i believe but not the cause or what to fix. The 1st 2 pics are of the right side(pass) with no weight on the car, the 2nd 2 are from the left side(driver) This has been going on since last summer and i got frustrated and parked the car for an early winter. Want to figure this out before spring. Thanks. this is on my 67 RS/SS

Well, I may know the problem....I should have included a bit more money with my Paypal when I bought your programmer :) It's an old car...time to let it go :)
Got any pics of the car to share with us?

Did you check the a-arm bushings. Also check the motor mounts.

Your sway bar link has cracked the top off.

Sounds like a 2 person job , its tough to see anthing from pics,
Wheels bearings, brakes /caliper sticking, , you should be able to have it lifted and keep wieght on the springs, jackstands under a arms, that would help a lot. A long bar 6' or so to give some upward pressure, but with 2 people you should find the problem in minutes.

I would go with either a arm bushes, a tie rod end or play in the steering rack

FWIW and JMO I would tighten the sway bar link bolts and check the A frame bushings, both of which could cause your clunk
