I've had several people inquire lately about the larger 1 micron microglass filter element that i used to offer. It was original sold as an option for the auxiliary kit and was discontinued due to lack of interest. I will be bringing them back in limited quantities initially to gauge interest. if they do sell i will bring them back for good. They should fit without any vertical clearance issues on my Billet OEM Adapter as they are 3" shorter than the tall CAT 1R-0749. They have about twice the filter media of the current 1 micron filter so if someone were to run the billet adapter as a stand-alone filter with the tall 1 micron filter you should get 20,000 miles of service life out of it compared to 10,000 on shorter 1-micron filter.
