I will be buying a cognito 7-9" lift soon, and I wanted 18 inch wheels with nitto mud grapplers. The only grappler tire nitto makes for an 18" wheel is 38/15.50/18. If the lift is at 9" will I have a problem clearing 38s? Anybody do this? Pictures? Thanks!

I am running a 12" Cognito and running 38's on 20's...had to trim the balance on the front bumper to clear the tires

I am running the 9" kit, 37's are perfect. They do not rub off-roading. I think 38's will, especialy w/the width.

I would watch the width. My buddy put the same kit on is 05 CC/SB.
He went with a 37X15.50X18 Mickey Thompson baja MTZ (I think that is what they are called). Anyway, the front tires rub on the a-arms just slightly. You have to really watch for the backspacing on the rims (I think he went with 4.5" backspace..) Too much and you will rub on the arms. We also had to trim the front air dam, it was catching with the tires at full lock when backing up.
Call the guys at Cognito. They can give you the info you need.
Good luck.
