This has been mentioned in another thread and on the other forums, thought I start one dedicated to it.
Here is Max'd Out Racing's newest entry into the diesel Prostock class of NHRDA. It is street legal '65 El Camino, has full working glass and lights. Full tube frame and Chris Alston front end with a reinforced 9" 4 link with coil over on all fours. It is 7.50 cert car (would go 6.0 if CM) 33" DOT tires under it currently. The firewall is moved way back and the body modded accordingly. Done very well and can't even see where the cutting was done. Rob wanted a true truck, but the pro stock rigs running now are far from a truck. Should be a good rig to cut his teeth on in the pro ranks.
Not rush anything and hope to make some shake down passes by May. May have it in Indy if things go well. Hopefully will come in under 3000 lbs. Will run a LBZ full built Duramax and a Duraflite tranny similiar to Max'd Out. Seller kept the engine and Lenco. Will still be racing Max'd Out this year as well.
