Does anybody know where it is at ? I have read it should be below the drivers side headlight, tranny cooler bracket, etc. I still cannot find the stupid thing. I did see a connector attached to the battery tray and it goes somewhere under the battery.

Mine was on the trans cooler bracket, just under the cooler itself. I relocated it to the inside of the bumper, seems to work good there.

Here is where GM says it should be, has a bracket and everything, looks to be near the passenger headlight. http://www.genmotorinfo.com/Picture.aspx?ccId=442394621&ppId=127518734&ppInfo=2006-2007+GH%2cSensor%2fTemperature%2cAmbient%2c+(DF5)+ (Exc+V14)+-+TG09702 Then I noticed it said except V14 which is the aux trans cooler option. As I posted earlier mine was on the trans cooler bracket itself.

I will look closer on passenger side under headlight. I am guessing that 2 wire connector that goes under the battery goes to it. I put in a bigger trans cooler and I know for sure it was not on the bracket.

Stupid question can you see the AAT on the edge?? I know I can because I have the rearview mirror with the compass and temp display. I am wondering if you don't have that same rearview maybe you don't have that sensor up front. Maybe they are using one of the IAT sensors as the ambient for the ECM on those models with a standard rearview mirror. I don't know just a thought.

I use the Edge Insight to read it. I do not have the fancy mirror. AAT, IATT, and IATM all read different. Wherever it is at it must be close to engine because when I plug the block heater in the AAT reads high.
