I just purchased an Edge Insight GTS and I am looking to use the Edge mount. They only list one for up to model year 2010. I would think it would work in a 2011 Silverado with the LTZ package:
Chevy/GMC Dash Mounts - 2007-2010 GM Trucks/SUV Luxury Interior Dash Pod -
part number 28302
An adapter will be required - part number 98003.
Those that have purchased the Edge Insight GTS - how did you mount it?

That dash pod works as the interiors have not changed. I am using that pod in my truck, and I personally like it better than the window mount. Here is a pic of mine.

This is what Edge Products Technical Support sent me:
The pod you will need to fit in your truck is part number 28302. That is the one for the LTZ.

I put in a pod for a CTS a few weeks ago. I have a LTZ so go ahead and get the Lux pod.
Painted it with a semi-flat paint that matches the black well. My two cents are based on only have two velcro tie down brackets. I ended up drilling two holes in the defrost vent diverter that screws into the bottom of the pod and ran a zip tie around the vent blade on the dash and thru the two holes on the diverter and snugged it down slightly. Seems to allow the pod to conform to the dash a bit better.
I did a small amount of filing of the bottom of the pod so it really matches the dash profile.
Very happy with the location and sightlines compared to the suction mount in the windshield.

moonshot and chatcr250 - how/where did you route the cable?

pop off the fuse panel, run the cable from the cts under the weatherstripping on the a-pilar to the fuse panel and then over to the OBD-II port. The cable is a little long so i made a loop in it that is hidden by the fuse panel.

This is exactly how I ran my cable.

Thanks again. I received my CTS and just downloaded the updates - will try it out today.
I ordered the lux mounting pod too - that has not come in yet.

When I ordered my from Meyers I ended up using the wrong pod number and ended up having to send it back, right now I'm waiting for Tyler to sort things out. The other thing is he forgot to send out the CTS adapter for the pod so don't forget that you it as well.

Picture of cts installed - had some paint from my previous truck - pretty close - better than color it came - black. I used more double sided tape that it came with to hold it in place.
