Hey guys, I hope you can help with this one. I took my truck into the dealer to have the glow plug relay replaced. When I picked it up they told me that they found a turbo over boost code. I was told that the code showed up about One Thousand miles ago at 2500 RPM. They said it indicated 22Psi. I told them that I have read that these things produce around 27 Psi on the high end. When I asked if running the Edge on level Two may have contributed I was told probably not. I do not understand what is going on. My driving style has not changed any and the weight that I tow has not really incresed any.
Oh yeah, this is happening to an 02' LB7. Only mods are the Edge with Attitude.
Thanks in advance, Marco.

yes, the only mod is the edge juice with attitude monitor. Other than that it is bone stock.

Over boost codes can be caused by a few different things. I really would not worry about it to much. Just a small warning (dont get paranoid) a bad injector can cause the over boost code I have been told by some gm engineers

Thanks for the advice Cobra. Im not too worried...after all I still have 60,000 miles left on my warranty. If its gonna break then I hope its sooner than later.
Thanks again, Marco.

Although I have not checked for code numbers the CES light has lit on mine 3 times now. It goes off after 3 or 4 shutdowns. I get it pulling a grade with the camper and boat. It happens after it shifts down to 4th and at high rpm's and the boost is high. It has happened with the edge on 1 and 2. I going to have to get something that reads codes to satisfy my curiosity but I'm not sweating it as long as the light keeps going off.I talked to John at DPS and he concurred......
22psi is nothing to worry about
