OK, i'm done giving it more air in the intake and now i've given it more wind out the exhaust with the DP (will be installing dual pipes later) what will i do next...

CR, thanks for the pics. My '95 Tahoe was just as bad. I didn't bother taking photos, nor did I keep it. It is in the recycle pile at the exhaust shop. Funny, I don't miss it. :p:
Actually, the '99 Burb downpipe wasn't nearly as bad. Still constricted, but a lot less. Perhaps GM relented and decided to let the later models breathe 'a little more'.
Sincerely,
Rob :)

Actually, with the Tahoe, I didn't really notice the increase in sound/noise. It seemed to be about the same. On the other hand, the Suburban got a decidedly more aggressive sound, even before I changed anything else. Did you guys notice anything?
Sincerely,
Rob :)

CR -
What do you mean by dual-pipes? I'm intrigued now.

My 95 Suburban got real throaty after I installed the BANKS stinger. I mean throaty, but no unbearable. Power went through the roof after installing so I can live with it:grd: .

Looks better than my stock downpipe! You can still see light through it!!
