I just wanted to thank Steve Cole at TTS for working with me on developing an Xtreme tune 1 year ago that doesn't require any stacking and still kicks everyone's ass, stacked or not. :D

With as often as you trade trucks.....you'll be driving an LBZ before you could get your hands on a tune like that for your early model LLY from TTS.

Nope... Keeping the LLY until the new body style, even then I will probably wait a year.

To date, I have not seen a single tuner exceed the TTS Extreme on LB7's with stock motors.

While I did see a 500+ HP run with a stack on an LB7, apparently it was debunked in private dyno session later on.

I have not seen the results of latest tuners though.

While the LLY performance freaks are eagerly awaiting the TTS LLY Extreme, the last word we have had from TTS is that if it has P1093 problems like the other tuners do, it will not be released to the public. Ever.

The problemchild of the LLY engine.......setting a P1093 code will cause an engine limp mode..........it has plagued the LLY tuners for the past year..........

Good one Fred, I can't honestly say that I've gotten into the 12's with my unmolested factory original 2003 EGR LB7 7500lb long bed 4x4 including the Snug Top shell and BFG 285s. :D

However, it seems everyone but me has with the same tune. :D

And so I live vicariously in the accomplishments of others. :grd:

I would think Westers could accomplish the same thing.....and I know Joe at PPE is working on the tunes for guys with injectors.....even an LLY that was converted over. Guess you just have to ask.....

I realize this thread was started with the intent to stir the pot. Trippin, shame on you. I have a feeling the other one was also started with similar intent. Keep it clean so we don't have to close them.

Been Xtremely happy for almost a year now :cool: And thanks for the ability to have not only a powerfull tune but something thats also a joy to drive every day. It starts snowing and click I'm in plow mode in less than 1 second......well unless I want to blow smoke and my dad in his powerstroke trying to keep up ):h

Sigh, I wonder if I should have stayed single for another 2 years, so I could have the tranny upgrade and turbo, and injectors, and extreme and..... :)

I find that the Extreme plays real nice with propane and giggle gas. I might try injectors after I get my Super duper CP3.:)
