New here and have a couple of questions.

I have a jeep wrangler i was thinking of putting a 6.2 in. I know that the bolt pattern for the tranny is a stock chevy 90* but can you take a turbo 350 from a 350 and bolt everything to the 6.2 with no problems? Is there anything that you have to change? Also are the motor mounts for a 6.2 the same as a 350 as far as location? OK one more dose anyone have a write-up or scuematic(sp?) for controling the glow plugs with a push button?

TIA

You will need a new torque converter, the gasser has to high of a stall speed. Bolt patern is the same, but I can't answer the other questions.

The THM350 is not as strong as the THM400. If you are going to "work it hard", the THM350 will need some mods to help with the increased torque of the diesel. If it's a daily driver, street use, it should work.

The motor mount pads are in the same location for both the gas and diesel engines. It's a bolt-in and then wiring, kickdown cable, throttle cable, accy brackets, radiator hoses (size is different) etc. The usual engineering stuff. Not a big problem.

Look at the sticky post at the top of the 6.2 home page for the push button Glow Plugs.
