It not to prevent interference with your radio, it to prevent interference with the optic sensor. Muy high frequencies in those lines, a stray signal could really screw the pooch! I've also known removal of this device to help where repeated pumps were replaced due to PO251 etc codes... But high frequencies are just to the left of witchcraft to me. I got enough headaches keeping the 60hz power stuff from cross-talking to lower voltage signals at work... I wounder:cool: than if that is why I get a whisle sound when I have my radio on AM, and go under a overpass or step on the brakes? NEVER NEVER NEVER does that on FM only AM. I've checked / replaced all grounds that I know of and even add bigger wire to some. Anyone know if these thing go bad? My's about 11yr old with 220,000 miles on it. O well got XM now.:ro) | ||
